Jack's Point. Queenstown.
Jack’s Point (along with the interconnected development known as Hanley’s Farm) is a residential community located 20 minutes from the Queenstown CBD and 10 minutes from Queenstown International Airport. Initial conversion from farmland to residential and golf use began in 2005.
Jack's Point is a 1200-hectare (3000 acre) settlement in one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. Set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu at the foot of the Remarkables mountain range.
A total of approximately 1,000 residential lots have been sold to date in the area and another 2,100 are expected to come to market as the wider development is completed in the years to come.
The current residential population of the area as a whole is estimated at approximately 1,000 and is expected to grow over time to over 7,000.
The wider Jack’s Point area houses a world-class golf course, which is ranked in the top 5 in New Zealand. A network of hiking and biking trails is interwoven among the residential neighbourhoods and open space. The site is nestled between Lake Wakatipu to the west and the Remarkables mountain range to the east, offering impressive vistas in all directions.
